ACSA recently held a workshop at the Solano COE designed to help young educators learn how to become school administrators.
Web site gives budget cut info
As part of the Education Coalition’s efforts to protect students from the draconian budget cuts proposed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, the coalition has set up a Web site as a kind of information clearinghouse on the education side of the debate.

Home-school partnerships key to pupil success
Educational leaders know it truly does take commitment by the entire school community to ensure students reach their full potential. Partnerships between administrators, teachers, parents and the community are key to student success.
Collaboration leads to reform project
ACSA has been a proud partner in improving middle grades education in California for many years. Most recently, it was involved in the development of the reform project Taking Center Stage – Act II: Ensuring Success and Closing the Achievement Gap for All of California’s Middle Grades Students.
ACSA council ensures student needs are met
The ACSA Middle Grades Education Council has established and executed distinguished goals. Its commitment to designing and upgrading “Taking Center Stage” is well documented. But there are many other milestones to be counted.
