Each legislative session, ACSA's legislative advocates track and analyze hundreds of education-related bills introduced in both the state Assembly and state Senate. ACSA's legislative advocates work closely with bill authors to ensure their legislation meets the needs of both educators and the students they serve. The advocates also work closely with ACSA's Legislative Policy Committee to look closely at each piece of legislation and develop official positions. These positions include Sponsor, Support, Approve, Neutral, Disapprove and Oppose.
