What is Leadership Assembly?
The ACSA Leadership Assembly plays a vital role in the governance of the association. Its primary functions include the election of officers, the approval of bylaw amendments, and the establishment of the association's goals and objectives. The assembly also reviews and discusses information provided by task forces, ratifies the ACSA legislative platform, and makes recommendations to state board members on various issues that arise during the assembly.
In addition to these responsibilities, the assembly provides counsel to state board members on significant political matters, including statewide ballot measures and endorsements for candidates running for statewide office. Moreover, it acts as a liaison to ACSA's 19 regions, fostering communication and collaboration within the organization.
